The Division of Biology and Biological Engineering (BBE) at Caltech is seeking new faculty in the area of Neuroscience.
The Division of Biology and Biological Engineering (BBE) at Caltech is seeking new faculty in the area of Neuroscience. We welcome applications from candidates working in any neuroscience subdiscipline including molecular, cellular, developmental, behavioral, systems and computational neuroscience in diverse species. Ideal candidates will have a research program that spans several of these subdisciplines.
Successful applicants are expected to develop innovative research programs and to be committed to high quality teaching. Preference will be given to candidates at the Assistant Professor level; however, well-qualified applicants at the associate or full professor level may also be considered. The term of an initial untenured appointment is for four years and is contingent upon completion of the Ph.D. degree.

Salaries for professorial faculty at Caltech fall in the range $125,000-$400,000.
